Scott and Kuuipo♡Engaged

Do you remember last week when I was heading out the door for my very first engagement session? Well, I am happy to finally be able to post these beautiful pictures.
Before I rave how exciting and awesome it was to work with Scott and Kuuipo, let me first introduce my partner in action.
Being that I was taking on a big project of photographing my first wedding. I was lucky enough to have a friend, Kamil (who just so happens to be an awesome photographer and web-designer) offer to assist me and in return I could assist him while he shoots a wedding in May. Assistant turned into partner along the way, and I certainly can not take all the credit for these amazing pictures. We worked great together, I think we were both a little surprised. I love all the different angles we were able to capture with two cameras going. So be sure to take a look at Kamil's amazing work here.
Now, on to the happy couple. We met them at Louisa's Place, which happens to be their restaurant. I thought the restaurant would make an excellent setting and I am happy to say, I was right. We then headed towards the mission and creek with a few other stops along the way.
Scott and Kuuipo are a beautiful couple together and are so in love. It took very little direction for them to hold each other and kiss each other.
I can't wait to be there is just a few weeks to capture their special day.

m.body Opening Party

I had the great pleasure of photographing the Opening Party for a new yoga studio in town called M. Body. My friends Tawny and Peter Sterios are opening the doors on January 18th for free classes until the end of the month! The studio is located at 780 Caudill Street in San Luis Obispo. Check out their website here for more information and a class schedule. Massages will also be available in the studio.

You will see me there on Thursdays for Mom and Tot yoga with Tawny. I may have to get a few Intros with Peter on Monday first, but I also plan on attending the Community Class on Sundays (did I mention this is half-price).

The party was catered by Sally Loo's Wholesome Cafe. Yummy, I will be going there today for lunch! Be sure to check them out.

Today

I'm getting ready to head out the door for my very first engagement session or should I say, "e-session". I will be shooting their wedding in about three weeks.

Then of course a picture to go with a post. I dug this one out as I was making some room on my hard-drive today.

Just Because

I love my boy. The past six months have been the world of pretend around here. Even more so that we are reaching his 3rd birthday in just a few weeks. He has created a deep voice that he uses while playing with his trains. He will suddenly run into the room saying "the bears are coming" and then hide under the covers and then will suddenly rush out transforming into Superman. He has turned his train table into a mini fort and will hide under it with his flash light, that would be my cue to wonder where Benny went? His sweet little phrases that surprises both Jeff and I everyday. He has also somehow adapted a drawl (must be from grandpa Moman).
We love him so much that the three of still pile into bed together and snuggled up every night, we just couldn't image it any other way. With our busy schedules, that sometimes is the only time that we can all be together.
I love you Benny!

Yes, you read that right...
I'll be offering something very special this Valentine's Day for you and your sweetie. Show off your sassy side with a boudoir photo session.
I have twelve spots available on Sunday January 24th. Each thirty minute session will include hair and make-up, one 8"x10" print and 5-10 images on CD all for $150(groups of four will be $125 each). New Year and New Prices

With the start of the New Year my "special" is over. Although I want to let everyone know that I am still in the portfolio building stage and I am still having reasonable prices.

I am booked up for January, but currently have openings in February and March.
I hope to have my website and new blog out in a few months, I just want to make sure everything is just right.

Fucile Family, Atascadero

This family is actually from Davis but were in town for the holidays. You might recognize the location, I photographed Joseph and Elizabeth here a while ago. The family would be Mandy's sister-in-law. And Nicole, being the sister-in-law, grew up here and had her horses in the field. I always like when the location is meaningful. :)
Now that I have confused you, let's talk about the session. This was my first session with my new lens and I couldn't be happier with the results. To top it off, probably some of the most beautiful children I have ever seen.
