Colors

Benny and I have been working on our colors these days. We do several rounds daily of flashcards and then we recently bought a box of crayolas to go with our new desk (thanks Jen).
He seems to be catching on.

I'm taking a digital photography class this semester. I really wanted to enhance my knowledge and learn more of the computer aspects of the skill. I will be editing in Lightroom on Thursday, but here are a few that I did at home. The assignment was to head to the sports fields...

weekend wrap up

Well our weekend is almost over! Jeff is home from his two week training and we are finally starting to settle into life. This weekend we just decided to stay home and get things done around the house.
Here are a few pictures from the barber shop. Jeff and Benny took a visit a few days before the wedding. I finally went through and wanted to share a few of my favorites.

Twins

I finally was able to meet the twins today. My heart melted as soon as I walked in the door. Being around all these babies lately is sure tempting...

Big Brother

Speaking of Joe... did I mention he is now a big brother.

Joe is spending time with Benny and I today and tomorrow. That calls for some fun times. So far we had a great workout in the park, a yummy dinner of pizza and smoothies, trains, bath, and movies in bed. To top it off I get to cuddle with them both tonight!

Changes

So you see I have made some changes...
Well since it is not just mama and me anymore I felt it was time for a new title. Then with the start of a new blog I felt 3 blogs were too much. So I deleted rachel's place, and have combined it with this one. Basically it will be just like it was with the addition to some extra bonuses.
My blogs mostly consist of pictures, so I felt (with the help of my mom) that the name fits. enjoy!

Swim Lessons and Other News

Benny started swim lessons last Monday and he is having so much fun! He has gotten used to the "big pool" and has been loving his time there each day. After watching some videos on U tube of diving boards, he decided he wanted to go off one too. His teacher caught on today (finally understood his request) and after class he took Benny over to "check it out". Benny went up without hesitation and went for it. It was an exciting moment for both of us.
On to other exciting news. We are two weeks into no binky and no diapers. We haven't had any accidents in the last two days and I am thinking we are on the home stretch. As for the binky, wow that was easier than I thought.
In two weeks we start school again. Benny will be going to the Cuesta Children Center for his third semester. I am thinking that he has grown up this summer and he is becoming a little boy. I miss my baby but love the little man he is becoming.
